Bankrupt the Coal Industry

I can't believe this tape didn't come out until a few days ago! This demonstrates the fundamental (heavy on the mental) liberal stupidity people are going to blindly vote into office.

Bankrupt people who build new coal plants, eh? Given that about 80% of the electricity generated in this area of the country is done so using coal, this will make the cost of electricity skyrocket!

You people who vote Democrat are going to get what you deserve. He is going to drag you down and make you even with the poor. You will be spending a lot more on electricity, gasoline, and natural gas, which will translate into a lot more for every single product in your lives. And you deserve it! Its just too bad that the rest of us who actually have a coherent thought in our heads will be collateral damage.

I have a friend in Texas who owns a business. He said he is going to have to lay off 10% of his workforce if Obama's taxes go through. He also said he has made a list of people that work for him who have Obama bumper stickers... and they are the ones who will be getting laid off. Good!

I'm trying to stay optimistic. I keep telling myself "We survived the Carter administration, we can survive anything." But the more this guy reveals who he really is, the more I worry.

The best I think we can hope for at this point is two years of liberalism followed by a major house cleaning in Congress in '10 and then a new conservative PotUS in '12. I'm gonna try to focus on that and do what little I can to work toward it.

Hopefully he'll not be able to actually push through some of the worst parts of his agenda.

The next 4 years are indeed going to be interesting, especially given the high possiblity the house and the senate will be liberal majority. That, along with the judicial appointees he may get to make is a little frightening.

I too, hope that, given it's only 4 years, and looking back through presidential history, we've survived.

Here's looking to the future and knowing, as Americans, we are free and can debate and change.
